Music Web International – the largest non-commercial classical music resource on the web – has named Delphian release María de Buenos Aires (DCD34186) as Album of the Month, with a superb write-up by Richard Hanlon.
It’s not the first accolade to be enjoyed by the release, which features Valentina Montoya Martínez, Nicholas Mulroy, Juanjo Lopez Vidal, Victor Villena, and Mr McFall’s Chamber: The Guardian named the sultry exchanges between violin and bandoneon ‘sizzling’ and ‘irresistib
le‘, and the album enjoyed its spot as Nov 17’s ‘Editor’s Choice’ on Presto Classical.
