In this month’s Classical Music magazine, Susan Nickalls talks to Delphian’s Paul Baxterand pianist and composer David Wilde about David’s remarkable life and the pair’s unique working relationship. They first met in the year 2000 when Paul, then in the early days of establishing the label, was introduced to David by the composer Nigel Osborne, and the two quickly struck up a firm friendship.
David has since made nine recordings for Delphian, and now makes his Delphian debut as a composer with a new recording of his chamber music, The Cellist of Sarajevo, performed by Red Note Ensemble.
