The People’s Mass

Six contemporary Scottish-based composers come together in this new Mass setting performed by the Dunedin Consort. Polychoral pieces interweave with harp-accompanied songs in a spiritual work that achieves unity in diversity, designed to stimulate and inspire the listener’s very soul.

"The singing is excellent"

"The members of The Dunedin Consort are all fine soloists and the total is one of the most exciting and inspiring releases of the year."

CROSSRHYTHMS

"I cannot speak too highly of the performers especially the soloists Susan Hamilton and Libby Crabtree sopranos, Kate Hamilton, alto, Nicholas Mulroy tenor, Matthew Brook baritone and Noel Mann, bass. This is at times very challenging music which they bring off, not just competently, but with a strong passion and understanding...It is a strong and very forward recording with a good sense of the building and space around it."
